Dimraeth Map Guide — Every Named Region in Mirkea

The Dimraeth map explained: confirmed regions from the Lost Caverns to Wildwood Forest and Goblin Caves, how map reveal works, and what stays unconfirmed in Early Access.

Last checked: 2026-09-17 · Facts on this page come from the sources listed above; anything unverified is marked as unconfirmed. Early Access details can change with each official patch.

Official open-world art

The Dimraeth map is the handcrafted pixel continent of Mirkea, and in the current Early Access build it consists of a short documented spine — the Lost Caverns, Earlwood Village, and Wildwood Forest — plus the Goblin Caves, a new region named in Mudtek's September 2026 Early Access notes as relayed by community trackers. Unlike a procedurally generated open world, Mirkea is deliberately authored: regions connect through quest-driven progression rather than an empty overworld, so the map effectively doubles as a progression meter. This page covers every named region, how map reveal and fast travel actually work, and what is still officially unconfirmed so you do not waste time hunting zones that do not exist yet.

Which regions are confirmed

The locations officially referenced for the current build are the Lost Caverns (the opening underground tutorial), Earlwood Village (the social hub around Faustas's sanctuary), Wildwood Forest (the large corrupted wilderness), and the Goblin Caves. Community guides consistently describe the starter route as Lost Caverns into Earlwood, then out into Wildwood, and Mudtek's Early Access communications called attention to an expanded Wildwood alongside the Goblin Caves. Community wikis also report a Farmlands area south of Earlwood with crop fields and early events, but treat that as player-documented rather than a formal region announcement. Everything beyond these zones belongs to the planned 18-24 month Early Access roadmap, where Mudtek has said completely new biomes and areas will continue to arrive.

How map reveal works

Dimraeth does not hand you a complete atlas. Early players describe crystals and map nodes scattered through each area that fill in the surrounding map when activated, with unexplored terrain hidden under fog of war until you visit it. The practical habit that community guides recommend is simple: whenever you see a crystal marker, touch it, because the revealed map makes later navigation and quest routing far easier. Points of interest such as spellbook locations, sanctum upgrades, and secret paths behind foliage also appear as map marks once discovered. One warning repeated by early players: pick up materials you do not recognize even when they look useless, since later spellbooks and crafting recipes frequently want odd drops you would otherwise vendor.

Fast travel and getting around

Travel is one of the more forgiving parts of the map. Community guides report that once you activate a waygate or waystone, you can teleport from almost anywhere at no cost, with no penalty and no cooldown worth worrying about. That changes how you should plan a session: rather than hoarding loot until a natural return trip, you can warp home to rest at your sanctum, dump materials into storage chests, salvage gear at the forge, and teleport straight back to where you left off. Because resting at campfires respawns enemies and sleeping at your sanctum advances the day cycle, this loop of hop home, reset, hop back is the intended rhythm of exploration rather than an exploit.

The map in co-op: what travels and what stays

Progress in Dimraeth is split between your hero and the world. Official material confirms that your character's level, equipment, inventory, spells, and personal progression travel between worlds, while story progress, recruited allies, and buildings remain tied to each specific world. On the map this means that if you clear a goblin camp or unlock a region gate in a friend's session, that clear stays in their world — your character walks out with the XP and loot, but their map keeps the flag. For regular groups, community guides suggest deciding early whose world the party is developing, and hosting on the steadiest connection since the game uses peer-to-peer networking with no dedicated servers.

What is not on the map yet

It is worth being blunt about the limits. Mudtek has not published a complete 1.0 continent, no official interactive map tool exists at the time of writing, and demo footage should not be treated as a pixel-perfect overlay of the current client because the demo was delisted on July 15, 2026 after the paid build had already diverged. Region names beyond the confirmed set should be considered unconfirmed until Mudtek names them, and invented room names or fast-travel tables circulating on third-party sites have no official backing. When a new zone is announced, Mudtek's Early Access posts and the official Discord are the reliable places to see it first.

A practical reading order for new players

If you remember nothing else, remember the sequence: the Lost Caverns teach the combat meters, Earlwood Village introduces the people and the Guild Hall loop, and Wildwood Forest is where the tutorial gloves come off and corruption, elites, and world bosses start testing your build. The Goblin Caves are the extra exam Early Access materials actually named. As you plan each expedition, our guides to Dimraeth quests explain what the markers on each region mean, the Wildwood page walks the forest route in order, and the Goblin Caves page collects everything reported about the newest region. FAQ

How many regions does the Dimraeth map have in Early Access?

Official sources name Mirkea as the world, with Earlwood Village, Wildwood Forest, the Lost Caverns, and the Goblin Caves referenced for Early Access. Community guides also report a Farmlands area near Earlwood, and Mudtek has said new biomes keep arriving during the 18-24 month Early Access window.

Does map progress carry between worlds in co-op?

No. Revealed map, story flags, recruited allies, and buildings belong to the world where you earned them. Only your hero's level, gear, spells, and inventory travel with your character between worlds.

Is there a full world map for Dimraeth yet?

Mudtek has not published a complete 1.0 atlas, and no official interactive map exists at the time of writing. This page only lists named regions; treat any site showing a full continent as speculation.
